The Pain

Do you feel the rain my friend?
As it falls upon your frail arms?
Or do you not feel the pain?
As they hurt you.

Do you feel your pain my friend?
As the words come soaring towards you?
Or do you not feel the pain?
As they hurt you.

Do you feel my pain my friend?
As I watch you suffer day by day?
Or do you not feel the pain?
As they hurt you.

Love

Love flows around us,
Like a river flows to the sea,
Growing stronger by the day,
The ropes are tied tighter,
There is no escaping,
Love

Tears

The diamonds flew,
At me like sparrows,
Seeing straight through me,
Into me...
They pierced my skin like bullets,
Drained me of all hope,
My life was swallowed,
Into the night,
As the diamonds flew,
Like tears.

I made this up on the spot so i hope you like it.

Nancy and I

A horror story we did in class.
The criteria -
It had to be horror but not gory blood death rarara.
It had to include the words Happy, Superhero, Fox, Dandruff and ship but not distract the reader.
It had to have 150 give or take 10.

Heres my story:

Nancy and I

We’re alone at sea, Nancy and I. Yes, alone, very. There’s no way out. We are lost.

I sway on the deck, my eyes casting upon Nancy, as she leans over the railing of our ship ‘The Superhero’. Her lips are parched, flaking away in pieces, like dandruff, as though she has some strange disease. Her t-shirt’s ripped from where I stopped her from falling off the side of our boat, back where we could see land, back in the happy days, the days when we weren’t lost.

Nancy and I grew up together, yet now, we barely talk. I sneak around like a fox. Trying not to make eye contact.

The minutes tick past and our thin, strained bodies grow slowly weaker. That’s why I’m writing this, because I know, we’re slowly drifting away, fading, falling from this life, into the next.

Forever rest in peace, the moonlight.

Crushing,
Suffocating,
Your voice,
Humiliating,

Hiding,
Waiting,
Your eyes,
Forsaking,

In the light,
Of the dawn and dusk,
The dark,
Of the day and night,

Forever rest in peace,
The moonlight.

Sleep can never come to one so unsure.

Sleep can never come,
To one who never knows,
The secrets that may swarm,
All around you,
They are hiding from,
Those as kind as you,
Sleep can never come,
To one so unsure.

Your words burn me

Your words burn me,
Shame to my soul,
Why cant you see,
Im no lump of coal,
I two can feel,
My heart scream,
I no longer will squeal,
As I am not your queen,
You made that clear,
As glass is see-through,
For now I do fear,
Your heart is only for you,
Your words burn me,
Shame to my soul,
Why cant you see,
Im no lump of coal,
But in my heart I know,
You have I wild mind,
I must let you go,
For that is the only way to be kind,
My heart will heal,
Because it has to.
